On Thursday, 10th of April, Mayor Nasiphi Moya went to the Tshwane house in Pretoria to deliver the State of the Capital Address.

Even though there was a bit of disruption when she started to deliver her speech from other council members, she proceeded to speak about the 7 key administrative points to improve the City of Tshwane.

Moya stated that her vision of economic recovery was to tackle infrastructure. She also emphasised that the city would create jobs for all residents, including the youth.
Tshwane alone has an unemployment rate of 37,8%. She said that 1 out of 4 households has an unemployed person, which is a call for concern.
Moya also mentioned that the city is planning to open new business centres in Ga-Rankuwa and Refiloe. Moya said that plans are being put in place for the economic well-being of citizens in Tshwane.
